No save function on L4D2?

Hello again all, I am a Nigerian General I took advantage of the recent sales on Steam and finally got a copy of L4D2 for just under £7. Bargain.

But I'm a little confused as each time I play the campaign, I start at the beginning each time. Is this because it's meant to be just a quick run through with no need of a save?

I haven't been able to play the game for long as I have my last A-Level exam tomorrow...

Someone is completely missing the point.

When you choose a campaign, choose the chapter you were upto. It is meant for a quick co-op experience.

Ahh thank you. Like I said, I haven't played it for long and must have overlooked that function...

Shit! Under 7£? How low the mighty have fallen... In price that is.

In Campaign, solo or on-line, your progress and points are at all times saved as you continue to progress in the game until you are "rescued". ^ End of Campaign.

However, if you finish it, it's just to redo it all from scratch if you start a new Campaign round.

It is to make it re-playable over and over.
