I know that DLC is supposed to be one of those incentive thingys, but hearing this has me thinking otherwise. It's more encouraging to me knowing that a company wants to do it right from the start, and not try to tack things on later, and get the next little pot of gold out sooner. It's gotten to the point that games seem like $60+$15+$15+$15 (in other words, $105 for the whole game) lately, so that is pretty cool to hear. Naughty Dog must be one of those ironic nicknames or something. ;)

Wasn't planning on getting it, but isn't it a little odd for a mainly Singleplayer game to not get Singleplayer DLC ?

I demand to see Nathan Drake in a minicart...holding a subway sandwich.

and no, this isn't shop'd.
I don't get it... was there and ad series I missed?
Nathan Drake has been spotted in commercials during NFL games (at least) pimping Subway while he dives through windows and hangs off of planes.

You know, the perfect time for a sammich.

To the story, Robin!:

Good. You make a great game, I pay you money, and there's no dicking around with DLC, bugs, or whatever other glory of cool things crap. We just get to the awesome.

Edit: NINJA'D. Apologies.

I don't see what would be so bad about this, outside of the point that you wouldn't have property rights to the DLC (which does annoy me a lot, so is a good point). They're talking about five hours of some of the most critically acclaimed single player out there, for a less than full-priced title. That's as long as the first Uncharted!

Of course they probably wouldn't make as much money, but still.
