Was Neon Genesis Evangelion on CN? My favorite anime ever.

Spoiler: It actually was on Toonami for 2 episodes. Granted, it was heavily edited.

It was also on Adult Swim, at least I think it was.

On topic, most of the anime I watch wasn't on Cartoon Network. Most series I get into through the internet.

They actually put that on Toonami!? Adult Swim I can understand, but Toonami? That (Even edited) must've screwed with some kids' heads.

OP: I guess I don't have a favorite non-CN anime, then again I don't particularly like 99% of anime.

Again, it was heavily edited, and it was only the first 2 episodes. The traumatizing nightmare fuel doesn't really set in until a good bit later in the series. Even then, however, a lot of people reacted in about the same way you did.

I could go on but I won't. All of them are way above what the Shonen 3 and what is usually posted as the best most popular omg anime shows. That's why I usually stay away from the typical anime discussions.

I felt my stomach go into a bout of pain when I read this. I don't know anyone who watches anime on cartoon network. You do realize the anime there is heavily edited horribly dubbed garbage right?

There is a lot more but I don't want to take up the whole page. I guarantee you that these anime series are much better than the on cartoon network.

The main problem is cartoon network is for kids, so any anime is dumbed down with the dialogue being ripped out and some lines written by a 3 year old stuffed in. The animation is often edited.

Any of the anime series that I like would not be able to be shown on cartoon network because of the foolish idea that anime=cartoons and those are obviously for children.

Gundam wing was and i think Fooly cooly (fine FLCL) but dont get your hopes up they aint there any more.

Elfen Lied will never appear on CN or even Adult Swim ( night time segment on CN). That show is just way to fucked up and disturbing
