Do you ever have those days when you just don't want to play a game? Your really bored, and have plenty of good games available for playing, but you just wanna do something else like go outside or write a song, or play badminton or something? Does that happen to anyone else? Or am I just weird?

Umm.. Constantly.

I don't really even have the effort to game really.

In fact, I think my overall time spent gaming is between 2 and 5 hours a week.

Yeah, it happens. I went through that a lot before I got my PS3, I was just tired of PC gaming, my PS2 was used mostly for movie-watching and eh...

Nowadays, it's relatively rare. I enjoy gaming a lot, and have a bunch of games I haven't explored, so I'm hardly ever bored in that regard.

If I don't want to play games then badminton is a definate. If you read my posts (don't see why you would, careful you perverts, I have a gun) You will know that I play it lots and I will call my mates, book a court and just go play for the lulz.

If not that then I will sleep. I can sleep for 12 hours a day. 15 at a push. This means that I have to use the little time to do what I would normally do in a day (eat, homework, badminton etc)so I have less time for gaming.

Yeah, happens to me a lot. It doesn't help that I can't afford to game time-wise, and that the only platforms I have access to are my DS and Steam. So yeah.

Not often, no. I have days where I don't do anything in games, like just dick around all the time, though.

I was playing Super Mario Bros 3 on a NES like a straight G at a get together until a lovely friend came along. That controller got dropped like it was hot.

Women and school are the only things that stop me really. The former a constant hindrance, the latter is a rare exception to my gaming time.

Yeah. Usually on those days I'm apathetic about EVERYTHING, and just want to lie in bed (awake) and throw up.

That happens every so often. i live in a small town in Florida, and go to a relatively urban high school. So most friends I have are like, twenty miles away and I have no car.

This means that I try to avoid those days.

I'm surprised no one had made a shuttlecock joke yet...
Anyways, I usually end up playing games when I'm really bored and there is nothing else to do, which where I live is all the time.

Recently, yeah.

I usually get it on the weekend mornings, but then I start to want to play games as the day ends, or when it's least convenient for me (i.e. I have to study/exercise, etc.).

no its quite common. i have plenty of great games but sometimes i need something else to fill the void that only other activities can fill. so i play basketball, read, or chill with my friends. I know, its this crazy thing called socializing.

Any time I get a call from a friend or a good movie comes out... Also spending two months in Europe. Sorry Xbox and PC, you get to stay home.
Although I did visit a few gaming internet cafes to kick some ass in Counter Strike with a buddy of mine...

I don't game nearly that much actually. I can go days or weeks without playing a video game most of the time.

I have days where I'm dedicated. Days when I sit down, and play through Mass Effect 2 or something. I have days when all I do is play some custom games in Halo with my friends. And I have days where I like to sit in a quiet place and read.

Today was more of a reading day.

If it's really nice outside, I get to the point where I just need to be outside.

Regardless of how great the games I am playing are, I have to go outside to enjoy the day instead of playing for a while.
