Its not so much a racial slur, as it is a misnomer. Its thought to derive from "Little Egyptian" because people thought the Gypsy-Rrom originated in Egypt....which they don't.

You didn't just say comic book super heroes, so there are a few anime and game ones in there too. Some of them have more than one option too; Kusangi for example you could use that outfit, her casual wear or her combat armor.

personlly i would suggest something like hawkgirl or black canary

you don't really need a helmet helmet...just some kind of eyewear that is blackish and kinda wings out

and its not to hard to find random wings at any kind of halloween costume place.
