Non steam half life mods?

Hi.

I have been looking for some mods for the original half life game and found I few i'd like to try. The only problem is, my copy of half life isn't on steam. I was just wondering if there was any way to play mods on half life without purchasing it on steam?

Just register the product in your steam library and it will play as if you've bought it on steam. Problem solved
