What about them claiming lag? or is that more tolerable considering the state of connections and servers?
It's tolerable in some cases but not in others, sure I've found my share of laggy servers and/or matches but it has never been an issue for me, sometimes even the person who lags is the one complaining, but if a game is lagging and you're not having fun shouldn't you just leave and try another instead of using it as an excuse for loosing?

newb-

Someone who is new to the activity that they are currently partaking in. Very often this term is used pertaining to computer games. Contrary to popular belief, a newb and a n00b are not the same thing, as a newb can and will get better where as a n00b will partake in activites meant mainly to aggrivate other players.

newbs deserve a chance to grow and become better.

Did you even read other posts in this thread, Mr. Dictionary?

But if we look at it like that, then a "n00b" is meant to aggravate other players, right?
As much as you admit that it isn't, it can get you aggravated, if someone uses the shotgun all the time.

See Juggernaut & grenade-tubes from CoD4. I don't use them, I don't like them, but whatever. If you can't find away around a technique in a game its you sucking. There is no invisible rules in any game as far as I'm concerned.

You can have you're own rules but that's it. Apparently using the M16 is 'unfair' on CoD4; is it now? Says who? The game developers?

I got sick of CoD4 people talking about what's 'ok' by their standards after the following conversation:

"Gah, that rossatdi guy is so lucky."
"Yeah he's such a noob, he's not even aiming with the M16."
Me: "I'm using Steady Aim."
"..."
"Noob."

this isn't just an MGO issue. it's with all shooters. the shotgun is simply viewed as a noob weapon. no mater how much you play or how good you are at the game. I personally hate the gun. I don't like using it. i don't like seeing it. but that's my prerogative. I have nothing against people that use them though because if you're smart enough, you can find a way around it (In MGO you just dive into them.) But it's considered a noob weapon because most people feel you don't have to really aim it. you just get it in the general area and shoot. which for the most part is true. Just ignore the noob callers though. People who tend to do that have no life outside said game and tend to suck the most.

Yes, noob != newb.

There are some weapons that are considered "noobish" to use, simply because it involves pretty much no skill to use them aside from clicking the mouse. It's the same with the AWP/Auto Snipers in CS:S, the grenade launcher attachment in CoD 4, and (evidently) the shotgun in MGO.

Note: I haven't played MGO, so I'm just taking your word for it.

You deserve to be pursecuted, the shotgun is such an overpowered NOOB weapon!!%$!$^

Naw, I'm kidding. Though MGO does frustrate me sometimes, I don't care what weapon you use just so long as you arn't on the same team and keep on CQCing me for the hell of it. Just don't go onto the farming games, especially the CQC ones. God, the times I've been knocked out by my own team members in those games, I'd be rich!

could've cutted your story a little shorter, it was overall confusing. Whose fault is it? I don't know, you never mentioned an initial mistake.

I would never call anyone a noob (now that I think about it, I rarely call anyone a noob) if they abused a certain method/weapon. It's really up to them for using proper counters, next time this happens, just politely ask them to leave every time they complain (atleast it'll get them real angry).

It is your privilege to use it whenever and however, assuming that you are truly great with it, then kill them over and over until they feel like little nublets. Its like punching a crying baby, really.

Shawtguns in games are inaccurate anyway. In games, the spread of a shot 5 feet away is like, lower torso to mid-skull. In real life, the spread is about a quarter of your head at the same distance.

What does, MGO TDM and CQC mean?

Noob= stupid person who is rubbish.
NOOB= some one who is a newbie ,new to the game, still learning, NOOB is simply a shorter version of newbie

it does not mean stupid person who is rubbish.
There's 2 forms of it
Noob - derogatory of a new player who won't take advice and is in general a douche
Newb - new player, generally normal person, happy to learn

That's the rule I follow
