Noobish compatibility help

I've been meaning to play KOTOR for several years now and I've finally decided to buy it, now I need to know...will my computer run it?

Requirements (according to steam):
OS: Windows XP and Windows Vista
Processor: Intel Pentium 3 1Ghz or AMD Athlon 1GHz
Memory: 256 RAM
Graphics: 32 MB with Hardware T&L
DirectX®: Directx 9.0b or better
Hard Drive: 3.5 GB
Sound: Directx 9.0b compatible

I'm on a Laptop:
Vista
Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU [email protected] 2.00GHz
RAM: 2.00 GB
System type: 32-bit operating system

It says on steam (which is where I'm buying it) that its vista compatible.

I know that this probably sounds really dumb to most of you but I need help as I genuinely have no clue when it comes to PC gaming, thanks.
