I actually didn't have either of those when I was a kid. I however knew someone that did.

There was some Anime that I watched but CANNOT for the life of me remember what its called. It was like these Samurai guys who faced some demon lord or something. THAT is super nostalgic to me but i cannot remember what it is.

God I remember More than half of these, Including ones I thought were shown only here in obscure old New zealand. There were a bunch more though hovering in the back of my mind. That i can think of : the Action Man cartoon,Starship troopers cartoon, cat and dog. And this one that i cant remember anything about except that a dude and a magic/technological (either bracer or Necklace thing i cant rmeber) that he could activate to cover his body in some Armour stuff.

Argh! I hate half remembered memories! Love the fully remembered ones though (Digimon raised me as a kid.)

Oh and....
No i dont know why me and my sister watched it so much as a kid, I guess i never noticed anything weird about it compared to the strange crap on T.V. And then I grew up......*shudders*

I watched this as a kid. It is the sole reason why I got into anime as much as I did when I was in HS. I was hooked on this show! I would dance around, striking sailor moon postures, and claiming love and justice were my credo. I think the advent of my dyke-like behavior started to appear here. I took the screen name (this was also about the beginning of the dot com BOOM) "Tuxedo Mask" on occation. Sailor Jupiter the rest of the time. In the american dub, Jupiter has the same name I do, even if it's spelled differently.

I think I saw this well before I saw Sailor Moon. I caught maybe 6 eps one day. It was like, early years Gundam, and I thought the animation was the greatest quality I had EVER seen! I was shocked! Looking back, it sure is shocking. xD

I think the most nostalgic thing that comes to my mind are...old videos and books from when I wa super little like the little golden books and videos of thing like Artjur and 101 dalmations.

That is my childhood right there. I fucking loved that show, and I still do. Best thing Spielberg ever made.

I remember a few years back when me and my mate were at my place, having a two man LAN party. We hadn't slept all night, and it was like 7 am. Both extremely tired, having some kind of a conversation, with the TV acting as background noise. Suddenly that thing comes out from the tube, and I literally just freeze in the middle of a sentence. So much shit is going on in that opening sequence, I seriously had to stop talking, just to process it all.
