Nostalgia Blast: Jak and Daxter

So I dont know why, but over the last week after seeing the Jak II Into I got hit with the biggest piece of nostalgia I have ever felt. This weekend I ran over to my gamestop, delighted in finding both Jak and Jak II (I own Jak III already) and preceded to spend the entire weekend playing this series. After finding out (again) that I did not enjoy Jak 1, I started Jak II and once again fell in love with this series.

Anyway, have you guys ever been hit with a blast from the past this hard before, and how many of you guys loved Jak and Daxter?

Jak and Daxter isn't really old enough for nostalgia. Crash bandicoot and Spyro on the other hand are.

Onimusha, consistently. I swear I play number two every year.

And FFX is similar.

I stopped getting Nostalgia flashes after I saw what Ubisoft had done to TMNT: Turtles in Time.

But yes, Jak and Daxter was fucking sweet. I kinda like how it serves as a testament to how the series evolved.

Heh I like the whole Halo idea. I feel like 2 and 3 are much better than 1 was, and not just for the pretty guns. I guess I enjoyed the whole rogue element sort of thing. I liked the more serious Jak in comparison to the "Tak and the Power of Juju" Jak from the first one.
