Nostalgia , it's a wonderful feeling is it not?

seeing/hearing/smelling, feeling something thst in the blink of an eye can make you feel like a little kid again.

It could be anything from your mums perfume, to an old song from your youth

My question is this, what have you encountered recently that gave you that warm fuzzy nostalgic feeling, for me, it was hearing gettin jiggy with it (will smith) on the radio.

I heard this one the other day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P854d81XEYI (Got the Feelin'-5ive). It reminded so much of sitting in classroom during lunchtime at school playing Commander Keen. I guess it must have been playing in the background. Nostalgia is a wonderful thing. Although watching their dancing in that video, it may be a good thing that we left the 90's where they belong.

Hell yes, only anything before the age of 5 is considered to have a nostalgic effect on me. I got the SNES when I was 5, N64 when I was 10. But this baby is the Gran Turismos and the Need for Speeds of today (at least for 4 year olds anyway):

I used to play the old Need For Speed games as a little kid. NFS 2, Hot Pursuit, and High Stakes. Then I lost interest around the time they started going for hip-hop and glow-in-the-dark Honda Civics.

The reincarnation of Hot Pursuit is a little arcade-y, but nostalgia hit me as soon as I unlocked the MacLaren F1.

Paddington Bear stories make me feel like a kid again, too.

A lot of the old cartoons when I was a kid make me wish we sere still in the 90's. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Tail Spin, Pokemon, SatAM and a host of other amazing shows that the likes of which TV today has not been able to replicate.

Today me and a friend were talking about 1p mixes (a bag of sweets) when we were kids. I don't think you can but anything for 1p anymore... I remember when my mother got me a £1 mix; it lasted me days. Good times.

Yep, something my friends and I do, is that whenever we go on a roadtrip or a long weekend we play the shit out of one song. So every time we hear that song we remember that weekend.

This one is from just about everytrip (it symbolizes our friendship and stuff.)


We have lots of other roadtrip songs and the suck, but each is pretty much unique to us. But anywhere we are in the world and we hear this song we all instantly remember our friends and the good times we had together.

Growing up sucks.
