I was trying to listen to music that brought back childhood memories, which would mainly consist of songs from the 80s and 90s that my mom would play when I was younger. Nostalgia is kind of a crazy vertigo feeling for me, and I was wondering what kind of stuff brought on nostalgia for you guys. Post anything that reminds you of your childhood

Yellow Submarine, The Beatles. I know it's weird, but when I was a kid, my parents listened to a lot of Beatles, and I just happened to be there.

I walked into my houseshare's kitchen and one of my mates was frying sliced potatoes. I instantly jumped back to my grandmothers kitchen when I was like 5 or 6. I went to my room and called the old bird to reminisce a little.

About once every 4 months or so I trash my bedroom generally just looking at my old stuff.

I find this to be a very relaxing exercise, and it generally always gives me some forgotten treasures. Calvin and Hobbes books! Old school creative writing assignments! Video games I'd forgotten that I owned.

And every now and then I find something truly great. A while ago I found a photo of my dog, who had recently died, that was taken when he was a puppy when we got him. The photo must have been taken when I was 6 years old, and it was an emotional moment. I've still got that photo in a safe spot.

You guys remember pogs? I DO! And that's not all...

I can remember getting dangerous with Darkwing duck, and Duck tales "A wooo hoo." There was even more than met my eye, like Transformers. And who can forget Leonardo, who leads, and Donatello who does machines. Raphael was cruel but crude, and Michaelangelo was such a party dude. Pokemon, I caught em all. Star wars, in a galaxy far far before the prequels. The Simpsons, I can remember when it was funny.

So many more, but so little brain. They'll come to me eventually, but right now I've got the sudden urge to play N64.
