ok, i just took a shower. I dont take showers at home most of the time, instead i take them at the pool(im on a swim team) It was the first home shower iv had in weeks. I decided to "clean the gun" and when soaping up i felt a lump the size of a penny on my left nut. I know this is strange, but im the only one in my house that is awake right now and feel like i should tell someone(even if it is just the internet). What should i do?

Don't they say lumps are a sign of testicular cancer?
Listen, you're not going to die overnight, so I'd say you should go to sleep and check again in the morning.
If it's still there, get an appointment with a doctor. What you need is a professional opinion.

First off I am not a doctor and I would still recommend you see one. Now with that said I have a similar problem. If it isn't painful to the touch then it could possibly be a spermatocele. I have had two, one had to be removed because it caused me pain while doing normal things like walking which isn't good in my line of employment. The other one I have had for probably 10 years now and no problems. But again you should still see a doctor to be safe because no one can be sure until they take an ultrasound and other tests if needed.

This is where experience comes into play.

Gather 'round kiddies, let The Rain tell you a story. Loooong ago (a few months) Mr Rain found a largish lump right under the dodad as well.

It took a lot of corrage for me to tell people, but fear of cancer was too great not to. I went to the doctor who felt me up, and had to go get it ultrasound with a doppler thingy (no idea how it works), and came out later it was a cluster of veins. Don't go, 'oh phew, it most likely be the same for me,' CHECK IT OUT NOW! All I learnt from my stroy is the fact that the embarrisment of showing off your junk to people you really don't want to only stems from yourself. They've done it a million times and are so old of it.

I felt bad for now on hindsight for keeping myself so long to do it. Go do it man. Don't let fear get to ya. Tell your parents or go yourself. Everyone understands and are really relaxed about it. Your mum or dad won't say a word and the doctors don't give a damn.

Erm... the obvious thing would be to see a doctor, considering they tend to know about the human body.
