Lets say you just barricaded a building from an unrelenting horde of zombies. With you is a 13 month old infant. You have been bitten and in several minutes or so you will turn. The infant is the last remaining survivor of your family. What would you do?

First I will turn and take control of my undead persona. With it I gain the power of a necromancer, controlling the undead one by one. I then raise the baby and give him powers to and we go of on some epic debunking!

In all honesty, I'll kill the kid by putting a bullet through its head, then myself.

Kill both of us. The kid first, and then myself. Unless there was a good chance the kid would be rescued, in which case I'd just kill myself.

Anyone else reminded of that movie where the dad kills his own family, runs to the undead and then the military appears ? :< anyways yes, I'd do the obvious which is kill the infant then myself.

At 13 months old, you aren't going to be able to feed yourself, especially not with food that would last any amount of time. It would starve to death. That's less humane than shooting it.

The building is barricaded. To me, that means no one is getting in. A 13 month old isn't able to get food for itself. It will starve to death. That would be much worse than an instant death with a bullet to the head.

Well assuming I have a Ham radio or any Radio with me(my zombie surival plan inculdes one) I would lock the kid up with food and suppiles and send out a message to survivors saying there is food and what not where I am to lure them there hopeful they will show up in time and save the kid(won't mention the kid just the suppiles and they prolly would do the right thing). As for what happens to me I will be using my last moments of humanity cleaning up the undead around they area.

It is either I don't shoot myself and the baby gets eaten by me, shoot myself and the baby so were both dead, or kill myself and let the baby get eaten or starve...

If the bitten part is a limb, cut it off and hope that stops the infection.

If I am bitten in the neck or in the chest... I guess I will just have to kill us both.

see how long i can keep going for, inevitble ill turn and probibly kill the baby, but hay u never know. having ure last act down as killing a child rather then dyed trying to keep one alive seems a little sad. so really id probibly try and make some sort of a run for any kinda safty for the child.

I'm not very attached or close with any family, so the kid would be food for when I turn. Not like it would survive on it's own anyway in those conditions.

If I could bite the baby and turn it into a zombie without eating it whole then I would do that. Either that or kill it because a life alone without anyone protecting the baby plus a chance that the baby cannot get feed itself even if it is locked in a room with food is just torture and isn't right.

Think about leaving a 1 yr old baby alone with food just because you can't take care of it (instead of leaving it at the steps of an orphanage). Would you really expect the baby to be able to eat and even just clean itself enough to be able survive without even thinking of the chances of disease from the waste that would be everywhere sitting around...the baby would have no diaper of course.
