Well I have had my mind buzzed all over again with this prospect and decided I might just put it forth here to let others play around. I still don't think it will go far so I have decided not to put all the ideas down on paper, the reason? So you guys here can put forth some of your own ideas! Oh, and if any Valve Readers are here and you want to pinch these ideas... feel free, by posting here the people wave the right to complain. All we can ask is you give some credit where it is due, and if you make the engineer CEO put a little dragon on the model somewhere.

The base idea is simple, create a CEO based on one of the TF2 classes. The CEO is a over-powered version of the original class, designed to have unique weapon as well as a few unique powers. Not only do they have unique weapons and powers, they are also able to take a knife in the back and keep kicking... well the more combat oriented ones in any case... the others are still fodder for spies. Damn those spies! To balance their greater strength, only one is allowed per side. A single player is selected at random and what class they are playing is how the computer decides what CEO they shall be. Even still, the CEO should only be available on certain map types, which should prevent them from becoming too common place that you get sick of running up against a CEO heavy all the time.

Unless, of course, you play on servers dedicated to CEO style map play.

Use for CEOS: A set of unique levels can be designed to use the CEO as the 'king' piece. If you want to put forth a idea for map objectives then why not. The old Assassination maps are a must with these ideas, where you had one team trying to destroy a single player on the other team and he was trying to escape. In fact the original CEO idea formed when replaying a old TF1 assassination map developed for TF2... it failed, because it was lacking a player that could withstand the abuse being thrown at them from the moment they stood out of the spawn.

Other map types could be mirrors of what we currently have, just with the exception that the CEO is the only character capable of taking a point or flag so becomes the center piece for the assault. On those maps death of the CEO won't be a failure, it just means someone else is selected to spawn the next CEO.

The basic format I am looking at right now.
Class: What base class you are using, pretty straight forward.
Name: Some unique and fun name for the CEO, puns and riddles welcome. (optional if you can't think of one)
Company: Each CEO is the head of their own unique company, again something that makes fun of the game or politics is always welcomed. (optional if you can't think of one)
Health: Double the classes base health and add 50... a heavy CEO is a horror to behold!
Unique weapon: This is the CEO's ace in the hole, a greatly overpowered weapon that allows him/her to survive a one on one with ease... or even resist a whole team assault. Do keep in mind we are meant to kill the CEO so don't make them god on earth!

Unique powers: These would be the hard part to program but with recent releases, such as the soldier, I think it is actually more easier then I think. There are three unique powers to each CEO and they are laid out as follows:
Aura: A area surrounding the CEO give a boost to any other players within said aura. This is to encourage players to stay as close to their 'king' as possible by rewarding them. It shouldn't be too powerful though, if anything use the 'mini-critical' as a guide line, nothing more powerful then that.
Boost: This special power replaces the secondary weapon automatically, much like the banner does for the soldier too... damn using it too much. After every two minute mark a single use of this ability becomes available. Depending on how powerful it is the ability might affect everyone, just those in your aura, last for ten seconds or just a single second... your choice. In either case it would can still be overwhelmingly powerful, when used right it should crush the enemy team.
Comrade: This is a unique one, don't even know if it is possible, but it produces a minor effect for everyone of the same base class. A tiny one, no more then 10% as a rule of thumb, because it is a wide range and passive ability.

Unique Art: This is optional, if you can draw then don't feel to shy to put your own image forward... just keep in mind doing so means Valve can use it if any of them get their lazy arses onto our fair boards for model ideas. When thinking on the description remember that they should stand out so a half glance is all one needs to identify the person as the CEO.

Also don't worry if someone else has made one on the class you desire, more the merrier. The more ideas to choose from also means the more refined the idea can become... should it ever be made.

I will go first as an example:
Class: Medic
Name: (Unknown)
Company: CEO of the HMO 'medicus deficio'
Health: 350
Unique Weapon: Uber-Uber-UberGun
This unique weapon heals a massive 25% faster then the standard medic gun, which also boosts Uber charge by 25%. On deployment the Uber lasts for 12 seconds and renders the target both invulnerable and generates a 100% chance for critical hits. The CEO is not invulnerable during this period though.
Powers:
Aura - Any person within 20 in game feet receives a low level regeneration, on par with a level 1 dispenser.
Boost - For 4 seconds everyone receives invulnerability but the CEO! Recharge time for this ability is a large two and a half minutes though the initial charge is only a minute (starts 2/3 charged).
Comradeship - All other medics generate 15% faster Uber charge.

Unique Art: Don't have any, but he should be from a nationality not yet represented. Thin, wiry and dressed in a long black doctors cloak marked only with arm bands and a hemming of the teams colour. This doctor, looking as if he is just two steps away from death... or cutting you up to learn the secret of immortality, clearly has lost his sense of morality long ago and might very well dissect you as to heal you.

Class: Soldier
Company: Master General of the 1st Builders League United Army, Soldier Division
Faction: BLU
Health: 450
Unique Weapon: The American Way
A shoulder and back-mounted device, incorporating a double-barreled rocket launcher, one tube on each shoulder. Both fire simultaneously, each tube containing 4 shots. Rockets are similar to those of the Direct Hit, but slightly slower and capable of dealing more damage per hit than either of the Soldier's rocket launchers. The American Way also includes an EMP generator to disable the cloak of enemy Spies within 30 feet, usable once every three minutes.

Aura: Anyone on BLU team within 25 feet gains +25% faster movement speed. This also applies to the CEO himself.
Boost: All BLU team members within the aura's range receives +75% resistance to bullets for ten seconds.
Comradeship: All BLU Soldiers deal an extra 10% rocket damage.
