E3, that special time of year when we get see some of the biggest upcoming releases. Mostly I'm very excited to see what gets released and actually getting some gameplay chunks is just dandy.
This year though...don't get me wrong, some of these games look fantastic but as far as the gameplay demos go - I'm just not very impressed. Mostly because I find it hard to believe as actual gameplay and not just a huge scripted trailer.
Heres two that really trigger the alarms in my head. They look fan-bloody-tastic. But if this is all 100% legit gameplay without any tweaks from the respective developers then I'll eat my hat.
I'm always excited to actually see new ip's for once but if you do even the smallest amount of scripted scenes as pose it as real gameplay then you're essentially lying to your consumers.
