Fixed it for ya. One of the rules of Mortal Kombat is that everything must be spelled with a 'k'.
Oddly enough, Scorpion himself dodges this rule.

Yeah, it's kind of similar to summoning gods/goddesses in JRPGs

It's fucking cool as hell but it really should be one of those things you use once and not in every battle

Then again, making religious figures your personal ***** DOES have an allure to it c:

You just gotta roll with the wackiness.

I'm much more upset with a game like Soul Calibur IV turning Darth Vader's lightsaber, a sword that can practically cut through anything, into nothing more than a glowing baton he uses to knock you out with.

Werent there exactly only 2 canon deaths this time around?

I saw the whole storyline on youtube and this mortal kombat was very tame compared to the last one. But then again its harder to keep a character of mortal kombat lore dead then it is to keep superman dead.

Was the death count ultimately negative? Let's think... oh, spoilers ahead.

By stomping on Quan Chi's nuts, Scorpion, Sub Zero, and Jax were resurrected. Scorpion deserves special mention since in basically every single game up until this point he was ALWAYS undead, the Ninja Specter. Now he's alive? Made peace with Sub-Zero? Resurrected the Shirai-Ryu with Kenshi's help? So we have four points off the death count.

But people who were killed on screen? You've got Mileena, Quan Chi, and Quan Chi's nuts which were sacrificed so that others may live. Shinnok was still alive at the end despite being significantly shorter, but otherwise? Only two named characters die on-sceen, and useless mooks who die in droves don't count.

You're right.

Mortal Kombat X's FATALITY Count In-Story: -2. It only evens out to 0 if you count Quan Chi's balls.

Let's have a moment of silence for Quan Chi's nuts: The true hero of Mortal Kombat.

Mileena's ending in the Tower downright stated that there's more Mileena's bodies around... She will be OK by Mortal Kombat XI.
So the only death in the roster was Quan Chi's balls... And Quan Chi too I guess.

I find it funny that you can have a move that explodes a mans testicles when we know they would never have a move that explodes a womb or breasts. Funny you dont hear all these GGers, SJW or Anita moan about this stuff because if it was woman on the receiving end of exploding ovaries attack the whole internet would explode.

Either way.....the move is still funny though. Cant wait to give Goro a major flashback to what happened in the movie. :)
