So, my birthday is coming up in less than a month, so I'm considering "SUBTLY" hinting that I want Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Kuzunoha Raidou Vs. The Soulless Army.

You know, I think it's a really cool concept, maybe this SMT game will be hard without being turn based, and maybe hard without being too bullshi--

Oh god dammit, not this shit again! I already dished out eighty bucks for Tales of the Abyss, dammit!.. Why are the games I want always so stupidly rare?

Anyways, fellow Escapists, the topic of discussion is:
Have you ever had any moments that make you say, "Oh, not this shit again!"

The sixth time my Xbox 360 broke, which also happened to be the fourth time it red-ringed.

Everytime a new CoD game is announced. Everyone knows it'll get to the top and push all the other, better games away.

Not this shite again, indeed.

A new game comes out, and my computer is far behind minimum specs.

For instance, 2 years ago I DREAMED of one that could run F.E.A.R., HL2, DOOM 3, and the like. They were THE games to have.

Well, now I have that compy. And it can't run Mass Effect, Command and Conquer 4, etc.

Any time someone equates the person they're arguing with, or their argument itself with that of the Nazi party on an internet forum.

I wake up at noon most days when I don't have anything on (hey, I have very late nights!), and some of the first sounds I hear is shitty pop blaring from my sister's room. Mostly Justin Bieber.

And I just think, "Not this shit again."

Well I have a game moment of It, you ever play Monster Hunter? Well imagine having to prepare for, and go through a long tedious fight over and over to get items. Think your done after kicking that monster ass, well guess what, now you have to fight Its colored counterpart over and over, think your done now? NO! Now you have to fight It's upgraded version, and its upgraded colored version, than both at once, harder versions of that even later. Its a cycle of pain .. unending pain.

Whilst it's not totally along the same lines as the OP's example, I was thinking this about half way through the final series of encounters in Dragon Age. Drawn out so long it snapped, and I was only continuing because I had sunk 50 hours into the game and wanted the end, not because I was enjoying it anymore.

first of all, why are you getting a shin megami tensei that is not persona? you better have every single persona game before doing something silly like that! especially persona 2, innocent sin.
Because I've beaten P3P, in the middle of doing so twice, and I'm in the middle of trying to beat P4, and when I'm done with that I'll likely snap the next time someone says "Persona."

They're both fucking brilliant games that define what a turn-based JRPG should be, but... I like to do something new every now and again, you know?

Besides, P3P and P4 tend to make me feel depressed, because the main characters of both act a lot like me, only their lives... Don't suck.[/angst]

whenever any thread anywhere on the internet breaks down into a "console war" type thread, you know the ones, (like the epic stuff that came out when FF13 went multiplatform, the ps3 vs 360 stuff that came out of that, good lord) with various fanboys spouting thier unfounded arguments and immature insults, ugh...

When someone comes into the Subway I work at and buy 6+ subs, just to come up to the register and leave because they forgot their wallet! Grrr...

And why..Why do people feel the need to leave their un-used napkins on the table? Do you assume we take them and give them to someone else? No! And stop leaving the straw-wrappers lying around! We have trashcans right by the bloody door when you leave!

When ever I see "Am I the only one?" and "Why all the hate for ----" threads.

EDIT: Also whenever I see the stupid "They hate it because its popular to hate" argument.

Beat P3P then look it up on wikipedia and tell me that the ending doesn't suck for the main character.
Still, it's all good up until then. Mostly.
