Peter Kurten.
Child Killer from 1930's Germany. Was the inspiration for the serial killer in the Fritz Lang film M.
I didn't say he was unknown, I just find him interesting...textbook but interesting.

This really is not a safe topic. I read a list of the worst serial killers and repeating it would be an instant perma-ban.
Um, no?

Anyway, have you seen The Necroswanson's rant, telling people not to do what you just did?

Anyway, I quite like Dexter. A serial killer of serial killers; what's not to like?

...Or is this supposed to non-fictional serial killers?
It was supposed to be real killers, and my post was more meant as a warning to people.

One obscure one would be Mary Ann Cotton from the 1800's who killed her twelve children, three husbands, and one lover all through arsenic poisoning. One of the first American serial killers.

So tonight, I spent some time watching and reading about Ed Gein.
Crazyass grave robber. He liked skin and human heads. *shivers*

Ehm, well...I have one: The Termintor. No, not that one; the other one. The real life one.

A guy named Anatoly Onoprienko from Ukraine. In account of sheer numbers and time active, few have anything over this guy.

I'm not gonna say exactly what this sicko did because as it is, this kind of thread can go in flames very fast, so if you are interested in specifics do a quick google search. Nothing wrong with that.

Countess Bathory, though! She slaughtered a slew of beautiful young girls and bathed in their blood to feed off their lifeforce and keep her youth (allegedly).

You've got to admit, that's pretty fucking hardcore!

Just shows you that, even back in the 1600s, vampirism fangirls were weird psychos. I totally bet she would have written Twilight fanfiction if she were alive today.
