Child Killer from 1930's Germany. Was the inspiration for the serial killer in the Fritz Lang film M.

I didn't say he was unknown, I just find him interesting...textbook but interesting.

Anyway, I quite like Dexter. A serial killer of serial killers; what's not to like?

...Or is this supposed to non-fictional serial killers?

It was supposed to be real killers, and my post was more meant as a warning to people.

i'm going ot say my favourite serial killer is Dexter =P, but in real life i don't really have one, Ted Bundy to me was one of the worst, but not really a favourite of mine.

One obscure one would be Mary Ann Cotton from the 1800's who killed her twelve children, three husbands, and one lover all through arsenic poisoning. One of the first American serial killers.

A guy named Anatoly Onoprienko from Ukraine. In account of sheer numbers and time active, few have anything over this guy.
