I hope this is the right place anyway I have had this idea for a sci-fi novel and I need two things 1 if you guys think it is worth righting and 2. I just can't seem to get started I start typing and get a sentence down then I erase it and start over because I want to right it a different way. so basic idea is a guy lives on a planet where on your 25th birthday if you can't prove that you will improve society you are killed and the main character runs and somehow (haven't quite figured it out) gets upducted by a space ship they go on afew adventures he becomes a member the crew then he finds out that this space group has a policy of once they start commercial space flight the group decides wither the planet will be a threat and if so they are promptly exploded by a giant space gun, don't know what to do after that.

A Hermit's Cave
Dystopia... gotta love it. Well 'writing' it would be better than 'righting' it.

Facetiousness aside, seems an interesting (if unpolished) idea, so go right/write ahead. However, are you doing this for your own enjoyment or for distribution? Whether you write it or not is neither here nor there right down to it, it's more a matter of how you write it.
