Ok folks, so me and a mate were just disccussing on another thread, about a word that we could come up with, that is the opposite to an Oxymoron. For those who don't know what an Oxymoron is, it's words contradicting each other, eg: pretty ugly, cold fire, etc etc.

Now the word I want you, yes you folks, I'm talking to you here! The word I want you to create, is a word for something like this (the following conversation was from another thread, I don't know how to put it elsewise, so I'm just going to make it easier on the both of us via posting the conversation in here:

Mate: Saying 'Oblivion Glitch' is equivilent to saying 'Fire hot'.

Me: Are they classed as Oxymorons?

Mate: Nah, that's saying 'fire cold'.

Mate: LET'S MAKE A NEW WORD FOR THIS ONE!

Go nuts folks, I'm going to grab some coffee. Also, if you don't get what I'm asking... then never mind, I can't speak it any clearer. Perhaps my mate can make a better job at it then I can :p

And if this turns into a fail thread then... well... so be it =)

Well since the etymology of the word "oxymoron" is basically an oxymoron itself, the word meaning the opposite of an oxymoron should be the combination of two Greek words that mean the same thing like: an aniarosmoron.

Looks like I just wasted the opportunity for a joke...
Oh well.

You really, REALLY, want this thread to stay alive, don't you?

IMHO there's no sense in making up a word fro something that has a perfectly good word for it.

But, if I was forced [http://nixonisinhell.files.wordpress.com/2007/12/forced-to-the-ground.jpg] to make up a word, I'dd go with Obviousism.
