I have just finished watching the final epsidode of Battlestar Galatica and was wondering what your opinions were on the series.

I read your article and I must completely disagree.
The series I felt was sublime for start to finish.

The use of All Along the Watchtower was a great way to tie in the discovery of Earth

It was far from a terrible ending. It left me wanting more while tying up most loose ends.
I think you are overreacting to be honest. A terrible ending would be more like "...and then Adama woke up and turns out he was a ceylon...and it was all a dream!"

Wow what's up with all the double posts?

Anyway, it's my favourite sci-fi show of all time even though I was a bit (not thát much) disappointed by the Deus Ex Machina-style ending. It's not my favourite sci-fi universe, that would be Star Wars, but story and character-wise I have yet to see a better one. The little Cylon figurine standing on my subwoofer is proof of that. Frak me I love that show.
