i like nuclear missiles, they make big power pretty explosion and have incredible destructive power but ive just realised whats the point in having them

its like in america where guns are legal. one guy gets a gun then everyone else needs one to protect against him. before you know it everyone has a gun. if we tried to take away all americas guns then everyone would say what about that one guy who still has a gun. its reached the point where its too late to go back

try taking away all the western nukes then we would argue we have no protection from china or korea. its just like the guns, if noone had one in the first place then they wouldn't be needed at all

We have them to deter other nations from attacking us. No-one in their right mind would attack somewhere if they knew they'd get nuked.

Problem is not everyone is in their right mind.

I would prefer if we (collective humanity) only had enough nukes to grievously wound ourselves as opposed to having enough to obliterate ourselves..

Maybe we could render nukes irrelevent by having large scale anti-nuke programs around the world, so if any were fired, we could stop them. And China could also stop them.

maybe they could program all the nukes to collide in outerspace, imagine looking out at night and seeing that PHWOAR!!!

this would be a cool way to get rid of them but EMP would be a bit annoying and korea would probably still have some hidden

Agreed. Look at Russia's and Japan's attitudes in World War 2. If we or the US went to war with them again we could be f'd.

I meant more like that Star Wars thing or whatever, each country just develops their own technology for disabling incoming nukes and then they're all useless, so we wouldn't need to use them.

Besides, nukes are so 1940's, biological weapons are so much more in.

yeah i know what you mean but i was proposing a different idea

also biological weapons are so 1915. problem is biological weapons can effect your own troops thats what happened in WW1 and the germans quickly scrapped the idea
