Personally, I'm fine with being naked. If it was legal and the weather was always warm, I'd probably never put on a pair of pants again.

I can take my shirt off without women running away in terror or laughing hysterically---I don't think I'm all that good looking, but I'm good enough looking not to have major body issues. I consider myself very fortunate for this fact, and I'm quite comfortable being naked, whether it's sleeping alone or...something a bit more social in a private sort of way.

And I tend to expect a similar level of comfort from any girl who's naked with me, which is why I hate Hollywood and the fashion industry. Thanks for screwing up beautiful women by convincing them they're fat, assholes.

I've got about as little body-modesty as it's probably possible to have, without living in a nudist colony or repeatedly being arrested for public indecency. I'm completely unconcerned about anyone else seeing me nude, although I do try to avoid the possibility of children doing so, simply so there's no awkward conversations.

If it weren't for the lapses in grammar and spelling, I totally could have written this. Well, except for the horrified by my naked self "in general" aspect, I don't have any particular problem looking at myself when I'm naked, I just avoid looking at my reflection.

The reason behind that is the extreme revulsion I experience when subjected to full-frontal male nudity, and the mental disconnect between my reflected image and my own natural perspective - I know I'm looking at "me", but my brain says "Aieee, naked dude, avert your eyes!" and so I do, because that is quite possibly the last thing in existence I ever want to see. So I invariably put pants on before standing in front of a mirror when I'm in the bathroom to avoid that whole scenario.

kind of embarrasing, but at the same time rather liberating. If it is with someone who you are comfortable with it is great. All in all, nudity is pretty cool, just so long as teh temprature is alright.

well being thin and relatively in shape (dancing will do that) i'd say i'm really comfortable with myself

I'd be nude constantly if the rules of our society permitted it

Eh. To be completely honest I was plastered last Friday and streaked across a street. Was it a good idea? No. But hey, so I guess this means I'm...ok with it?

I don't ever look at myself when naked. I keep my clothes on around mirrors

I hate the way I look. It's just... ugh.

I really don't look good naked but I suppose not many do :/

But I really don't look good nude >>

I'm fine with it. I don't have a problem with not wearing clothes, but I'm not about to run around and show everyone my naked body. I have to admit though, I probably spend an abnormal amount of time examining my body before and after showers.

If everyone in the world was a nudist i think it would be a better place minus freezing to death. Since in nudist colonize you have to have an intense rush of endorphins, or rather love, to get it up when you want to have sex, sex would fully become an act of love rather then an act of pleasure. The world would eventually succumb to the need of love rather then the need of pleasure. Causing a lot of pain, grief, sorrow, and love.

I am comfortable enough in my own skin that I will shed clothing if the circumstances are right. I'm also able to admire both the male and female form in a non-sexual context. The former in a sexual context tends to make me uncomfortable and I'm not quite sure why. As such, while I could watch a female strip at an establishment suited to the purpose, watching a man perform the same act would cause me some degree of concern.

I suspect that is the natural result of having grown up in part of Texas where people meet the sterotype associated with the state.

I love my body (aside from being a bit skinny) but I don't like seeing my self naked unless I have to i.e. shower.

I'm fine with my body, nothing more, nothing less. I don't mind uncovering as much of my body as it's allowed in certain places, and yes - I've been on nude beach once.
(I'll disappoint you guys - I'm male.)

I seriously like to look at myself in the mirror after takeing a bath, or when i randomly decide to go shirtless, maybe it's because i'm vain, but my training results always impress myself.
I'm kinda buff and I work on shreding a few extra pounds.

As the Subject line states its about nudity but more specifically about you. Im curious as to how most Escapists feel and what they do when inevitably the peel away all those layers and find themselves in thier "birthday suits"?

I honestly don't mind myself naked. this is probably because of my Heritage. Estonian cultural practice has everyone going to take a sauna together, and clothing would simply be counter-productive in getting out the dirt from our pores as it would simply make the dirt go back in. As such, I've seen people of all ages, genders, and body types naked and I've realized that not only am I not so bad, but that nudity really isn't such a big deal if it isn't sexualized.

So yeah, nudity on either side of a situation doesn't really bother me.
