Ok so i have a problem again? (hey i trust you guys that is why i ask)
So it seems when i am playing the sims(2) or spore the game stutters, in spore it is mainly in the space stage and creature stage but when i ask for the deafault settings! in sims it sets to high, everthing to high, and in spore i set everthing to high

Now being the smart people you are i ask you beacause i wonderd if i could set the graphics card to play games in high qualty and whithought stuttering and yes the SLI port is taken by another graphics card but i can't remeber which one!

Please help?

The 8600GT is a solid card. A little dated, but much like the AK74, still an excellent investment. I'd advise you 1. Check the SLI conncectivity 2. Lower the settings 3. Replace whatever other card it is with another 8600GT or 4. Overclock it, but don't be surprised if bad things happen.

I have a 8600GT and i always play my games on high with about 40 fps + -
but i bought a brand new computer with it so i have a good cpu to back it up
manually put the games on medium or med high
men it puts the games on medium on default for me even thou my computer can easily handle much higher then that
you can always check in www.srtest.com if you got a good computer for whatever game you want
check what is the 2nd graphics and see if its worth changing
(im no computer expert so dont take my advice very seriously)

Spore should be fine with this card, I have the same, and Sims 2 should run with no problems at all.

It may be due to other things, the processer speed, RAM quanitity, etc. Get an adult to check your sytem (dxdiag in the run menu) and check the specs on the back of the game boxes if your unsure

Your computer cost 2 grand and it has an 8600GT? Open the task manager and see if any processes are taking up a large amount of memory. Also if SLI is enabled, try turning it off (In the nVidia Control Panel) and running off only one of the cards.

I'm not sure, since I don't have SLI myself, but I believe it's somewhere in the 3D Settings panel.
