Makes a valid argument on his part, some of the social and mental developments of children need to be taught and experienced through parents to their children.

Why did he single out fathers?
Cause fathers day was just a lil'while ago. Plus it is arguable that fathers in recent years are begining to have less or no interaction with their children compared to the past. Heck, I spent the majority of my childhood sat down infront of a TV with a PS2 controller in my hand's and told to stay out of the way.

Sorry, Mr. President, I was not able to spend time with my sons on Father's Day. I had to go out and look for a job after my position was "eliminated" at my old company, so I could afford to trade in my "8mpg" car for a "hybrid van".

Maybe while I'm gone, though, I'll give them a copy of the latest Glenn Beck book to read, since, you know, video games rot the brain and reading is an Absolute Good (tm).

disclaimer: sarc. I do not own any of Beck's published works; the last book I purchased - not counting Audible titles for my Android - was the "Richard Castle" novel Naked Heat.
