Obama does pot?

idk if this is true or not but the word on the the grape vine is that Obama smokes pot. can anyone confirm this.

he did back in college - says so in "dreams of my father" or whatever that book was called. and fair dues to the guy.

The real question is why should we care? If it happened back then, it doesn't matter. How was he supposed to know he was going to be a President. If they're saying he did recently, it's probably just a stupid political rumor.

Besides, as long as he's not high and has a massive 'launch all nukes' button right in front of him at the time, does it really matter? He probably likes to drink, which is the same basic effect (weed has a few more of course).

During the election this issue was raised and Obama admitted to using cannabis in the past. It was one of the many things I respect the guy for. He didn't try and push it away with the whole 'I didn't inhale' bullshit or out right deny something that as many as maybe a third, if not more, of the population has also done. And lets face it, politicians more then not come from backgrounds where contact with recreational drugs tends to be fairly high... being able to afford to go to collages and high price universities.

As for him still using?

Doubtful but then who the hell would stop him, he is the fricken president and if anyone can get away with it he can. Oh and the last few federal medical cannabis users whom can, legally, smoke it anywhere they damn well please.

Obama: "Yes, I have smoked pot before."

Interviewer: "Did you inhale?"

Obama: "That was the point."

I remember that interview. It was the honesty of that response that convinced me that he would be the next President.

I don't do pot. Never felt the need. As long as you don't make me inhale your second hand pot smoke, we're cool.

Oh, and you can't smoke it inside my house. Sorry, no hotboxing my rooms. Gotta take that stuff outside. Same for any kind of smoking.

But let's be honest he's probably done some kind of drug in his life. Presidents are people too you know. The like to drink, smoke, party and fuck just like the rest of us.

I dont think anyone denies that. Lets face it, obama is a celebrity. Why? Because hes not George Bush. He really hasnt done much, but im not going to count my chickens before they hatch. I still have faith in him.
