Facebook Exclusive: Watch President Obama backstage as he records his cameo appearance on "The Colbert Report." In this pre-taped segment, he orders Colbert's head shaved, which was promptly executed by General Odierno during the show's special broadcasts from Camp Victory in Baghdad. Watch it here before it?s posted anywhere else.

This happened last week and is kind of old news.

It still was funny as hell.

Colbert- You mean there are really hidden surveillance watching us now?

Obama- No, but I have really big ears.

When's the last time you saw Palin and McCain on tv?

Thank heavens we have a president with a sense of humor. Imagine if McCain was president right now; he'd probably order them to cut Colbert's head off.

they were on the colbert report last week for the uso thing and surprisingly palin was the one who was the least funny

and frankly i thought them appearing on the colbert report was actually a good thing, it showed some support for the troops

I'd like a little more focus on getting some of the goals that Obama has done than appearing on Comedy Central. The honeymoon is over and there should only be three things he should be focusing on, his wife, his kids and being the president of the united states.
I'm having quite the opposite really. Obama takes a relaxed approach and shows he's got a sense of humour. You can't *always* focus on your job, anyway. He is certainly gaining my respect by showing he's just a man like everybody else when compared to Bush who was just playing the all-mighty Texan.

Oh, you see I'm not a citizen of across-the-pond land, so I wouldn't know this stuff. I just assumed McCain had died of a heart attack after his loss and Palin had crawled back under the rock she came from.

Oh, and another thing, what happened with the whole Bristol Palin thing? Did she give birth (I'm assuming yes)? And did she actually marry that guy? Or was it all just a sham?

While you have a point that politicians should focus on their jobs I still think that it was pretty awesome that they took the time to make this. It's for the troops after all.

Also: his joke about his ears was awesome. Way to not take one self too serious.
