Oblivion Command Console Problems

Oblivion for some reason when I try to press " or [,] for some reason " gives me : and [ gives me @ and ] gives me [. why is this? it happened ever since I reinstallecd the game is their a way to fix it, I need to get money to improve my house and in the command console it keeps doing this.

does anyone know how to fix this?

EDIT: nvm fixed problem, had to do with a driver...

It might be because your keyboard has gone crazy. Sometimes my keyboard will switch to "american-isms" where " (shift+2) turns into @ and vice versa. You can fix it by hitting Alt+Shift. Dunno if that'll work for the stuff in Oblivion though, you might just have to work around it.

well my keybored is normally american (beucase I live in america, which I dont think I have ever said before (?) and so ill try alt+shift still to see if it helps. but for some reason it is only ingame.
