Well it doesn't affect it like that to my knowledge but that is why we have console commands.SmashLovesTitanQuest said:Are you sure? If you say so I will believe you since you seem to have a vast knowledge about Oblivion, butOnyx Oblivion said:Nah.
She's not a major factor in anything. The game makes it so that quest-important people are immortal, with the few exceptions being some non-Guild/Main quest related people in Farmstead quests.
lol at Bethesda's "Radiant" AI.
What about the quest where you wipe out the brotherhood? I can see the OP standing there, looking around, thinking "Now where the fuck is that stupid elf" while the questmarker leads you to her corpse and finishing the game without console commands is impossible.
Weird though, I must have played Oblivion for more than 1000 hours and something like that happened to me once. Maybe you are just really unlucky OP.
Yeah I know what you mean. The only mechanic altering ones I use are Deadly Combat, Olivion XP and better Stealth and a Theivery one that adds these mad different arrow types. The Deadly Combat is more to make combat interesting instead of hold up shield then do two hits. One time I managed to puncture a guy's lung in the arena and watch him die.Onyx Oblivion said:I dunno why it's so heavily recommended. I really just like Quest mods and Spell effect mods.Glademaster said:It is not the OOO mod and probably not the other mods anyway it doesn't matter she is not quest related.Ah there are other mods that add much more interesting things like Midas magic I don't see what all the fuss is about OOO.Onyx Oblivion said:Ugh. I can't stand OOO. Felt like a totally different (and not as fun) game when I tried it.Master Steeds said:PC, with some mods on like OOO, and a few minor mods, maybe they cause it
But it's not causing it, likely.
I had people randomly go nuts and kill each other.
It's the Radiant AI system Bethesda made/used. Caused some freaky shit.
I enjoy most of the vanilla mechanics, like the scaling and leveling system too much to mess with them.
But adding new spell effects and stuff like multiple perma-summons?
And the Midas Magic mod you mentioned, of course.
