i have fenced over 500 gold, and I went to Armand for a job, and it wont come up as an option

it says in the quest section that I need to talk to him?

Any suggestions?

Well, did you try to talk to him at night, in the garden of Dareloth?
I think that is when he speaks to you for quests.

yeah when i speak to him there the option never comes up, but if i speak to him when we are not in the garden, the option comes up for the jobs, but he says "meet me in the garden"

I think you may have to go to Skrivv'a in Bravil, I think. I'm not sure but after you start fencing that amount of gold, you don't take jobs from Armand any more but someone else.
