Weiss from Nier.

A pompous and snarky spell book (but don't call him a book or he'll rant forever about how he's much more than a mere book). Voiced beautifully by Liam O'Brian, with the best lines in the entire game. Honestly, in my experience with the game Weiss's lines are the game's best feature.

Wasn't he destroyed at the end of the game?

Off the top of my head, I would say Wynne from Dragon Age. I think she's such an underrated character and I often times ended up using her in my party more than Morrigan (who I love, but I always hated having her disapprove of my Warden doing nice things).

I really wanted to know more about the spirit that possessed her in the Circle that may or may not have been draining her life. She's one of the characters that hasn't been mentioned at all in the other games that I legitimately want to know what happened/happens to her. Really all we know is that she was going to maybe try and learn more about the spirit and that she was going to try to help Shale find a way to reverse the golem process (which I also wish they would do a DLC or something because I really want to see that play out).

Maybe she's not really obscure, but definitely super underrated in the DA universe.
Sadly its unlikely we will ever see her again in the games. But yeah she didn't die, much like Anders she was possessed by a spirit that kept her alive. The reason she joins the Warden is because she doesn't know how much time she has left and wants to do something that helps. I do agree with you though, Waynee really needed more love. Sadly as she was not a romance option a lot of people ended up forgetting about her. Asunder does give a decent ending and does kind of end up being her and Shale as Golden Girl and Golden Golem.

Steven Heck from Alpha Protocol. He was my and I'm pretty sure most people's favourite character in the game. He claims to be a CIA agent who's just let go nuts but I like to think he's just a guy. That he's not part of any organisation, he's just a somewhat crazy person who decided to get involved in the world of international espionage because it's fun.
Also he's one of the few characters in the game who can't die no matter what.

Rats! I shouldn't have clicked that. You tried to warn me. Well, I guess that would rule him out, unless he made an appearance in some crossover game.

I second this! Though they made a newer game and it wasn't nearly as good as the original.

The fact that Dynamite Headdy doesn't get more love in this world is a crime.

That game was sooo good on the Sega Genesis.

I'd really love to see the main character from Relentless and Twinsen's Odyssey revived for another adventure. I loved those games growing up.

Busg- *suddenly throttled and replaced* Konoko from Oni. Fun fact, Bungie being bought by Microsoft crippled the game as they rushed to get the product out. Shame, because I had fun memories of it, and if they had sorted some of the bugs out, it could have been a major series.

Easy, this guy:

Only has 2 or 3 games for himself, and luckily ended up on the roster for All Stars Battle Royal but I'd love it if he got a new game on the PS3/4.

Marina Liteyears of Mischief Makers. What a fantastic game.
Shake shake!

Personally, I?d say Vyse, Aika and Fina from Skies of Arcadia. It was so rad to see them get a revival in Valkyria Chronicles, but still, I?d like to see the trio go on a new adventure in their own world. The problem, of course, is that they?ve already the most powerful air pirates on the planet and stuff--They have no limitations or weaknesses. Even if you somehow can invent a new threat that can destroy the world or whatever, the trio would have to pull a Samus Aran and take away all of their powers and their ships and stuff.

It?s cool to know that Sega hasn?t forgotten about Vyse and Skies of Arcadia, but they just haven?t found a way to send him on his own quest again. At this point, it?s not just Vyse either. I would LOVE a reboot of Skies of Arcadia, just to see the world in better graphics. Yafutoma, Valua, Nasrad: The cities in Skies of Arcadia were just as impressive and interesting as the characters.

They really need to bring back Soulblighter and the myth series back from the fold. One of the most interesting stories from a game long forgotten in bungies past. The engine used still trumps a lot of modern rts game simply because of its seamless realistic effects. Like arrows flutting in the sky not homing on targets and molotovs and missile weapons rolling and bouncing from different angles cause of terrain. Comming from a 12+ year game it puts to shame a lot of these so called rts.

Alex Kidd (why not, Sonic isn't exactly pulling his weight for Sega)
Gex (great platforming with relevant jokes, particularly in the English voice over for Enter the Gecko)
Croc maybe?

Yes, yes, YAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Earthworm Jim does not nearly get enough love. Love that he so muchly deserves.

Also, the other day I was thinking about Psychonauts and how it sucks that there's only one game and how super underrated it is. I feel like that is a universe I would love to see and explore more of.
