I'm doing an English project where we need to find really subtle or obscure reference to shakespeare. Have any of you found or seen a good one?

My English teacher has a poster full of Shakespeare quotes that are now common sayings.
I think "needle in a haystack" is one.
So, any time someone says that, it's a reference.

Also, welcome to the escapist.

Romeo x Juliet Anime is the first thing on my list
I could think of more if I wanted to, but I'm about to go to bed. Great project, good luck. It's great that good literature is still being used to teach xD

Well there's always

All the world's indeed a stage
And we are merely players

Maybe not as subtle as you're hoping, but it's an indirect quote to something Shakespeare said.

EDIT
TF2 Achievements, all referencing Macbeth

Out, Damned Scot!

Laddy MacDeath

Something Stickied This Way Comes (Something wicked this way comes)

The Scottish Play (Reference to the "curse" on the play)

I can't believe that this'll be the second time in 30 minutes that I'll type this, but I question your understanding of the word 'obscure'.

First I'd like to say "et tu brute" and check out this movie. They made a manga off it. Thou I hate Antony with a passion I still think this is an amazing speech.

So are you wanting "obscure" references like something not a lot of people have heard of, or more like veiled references like 10 Things I Hate About You being a modern reimagining of Taming of the Shrew?
