As much as I'm looking foreword to this game, I'm beginning to wonder if they're going into character overload.

From my understanding, character overload is one of the defining attributes to both the Warriors games and the devs as well. Dynasty Warriors 8, for example, had a whopping 83 playable characters, and that's not even close to the most characters they've put into a game. Fortunately, I don't think they'll go anywhere near that far on the first installment in a new spinoff series, but them having 20 or so playable characters in Hyrule Warriors wouldn't exactly be out of the question.

I'd be really interested in this game if it weren't for the fact that it's the only game current or upcoming on the Wii U that I think I'd ever want to purchase*...
* as long as it would be dual audio.

But a system for one game- especially a Nintendo system. Nope.

Can't say I'm surprised with the mostly female cast. If you look at the supporting cast across the series, most of the important NPCs that I can think of are women.

Well I've never played a Dynasty Warriors game so I didn't know that. Still them throwing in all these characters makes me a little uneasy.
