My gaming collection MUST BE PERFECT. That is really the only OCD thing I have. My shelves look absolutely spotless, but the rest of the area is extremely messy.

I waaaaay overthink whether or not classes in games fit me or not. I can't just pick something fun; if I have myself convinced its not "me" I have to reroll or it'll bug me.

OCDs for symmetry (even movements; for example, if I twist one wrist one way, I have to mirror it with the other), volume on TV (must end in either 5 or 0), Light switches (although that may count as symmetry), people putting things in the wrong boxes (I freaked out and attacked my sister, then spent FOUR HOURS sorting the entire cupboard and making sure everything was in place) and ordering things (i.e in a colour scale, stacking books on my desk and making sure they're exactly aligned or the smaller ones are in the exact middle (I will actually use a ruler if I can't be sure (Sweet! Triple brackets!)) and shuffling cards etc., so they're all the right way up and they're all exactly in line), I won't ever eat with or off somebody else's plate/cutlery or share their drink unless I use a separate straw, and if somebody steals a chip, for example, or touches one and then puts it back, they have to take it and any other one they touched, people messing with my hair (I carry around a brush and start to freak when I don't have it). There's more, but that's enough to be getting on with.

I also sometimes get that symmetry OCD; if I tap my right hand on the desk twice, the left one must follow. I also get really anxious if I do something wrong, but not everything. For example, the other week I was with my friend playing Mario Sunshine for a bit of nostalgia, but he was hogging it and I wanted a turn. I didn't let him play until I had passed certain challenge, and then I felt really guilty because he wanted his turn. By the end of it, he didn't want to play anymore, but I nagged him to because it would make him feel better. He finally went to play but we were still bickering, so I hit the 'off' button to piss him off... This was the really bad part. The angst was tearing me up inside so I had to start the console up again and get through about half an hour of stuff to reach this challenge again, just so he could play it. This feeling of angst.. its terrible.

Never officially diagnosed, but...

There can't be a single "line" wrong.(nothing can stick out)
Everything has to be in increasing sizes with the smallest thing on top.
Things have to be equal numbered(11, 22, 33) or ending in 5 or 0.
Everything has it's own place or order, so even deciding where a new game case is placed is a 10-20 minute process.(the top and bottom places have already been determined, but generally it's somewhat colour coded)
Everything has to point in the same direction or alternating(up, down, up, down)

I'm also a bit of a collector/hoarder(wikipedia calls it disposophobia), again, never officially diagnosed but that doesn't need to be, it's obvious enough.(connected with the previous in that throwing anything out will upset the 'balance')

There will be things that I can't think off right now, but this is enough.

My books. You have to have clean hands before you touch them. You have to handle them carefully; turn pages from the corners, NEVER dog-ear a page, etc.

(EDIT: I'll react a bit like this:

This goes doubly for my hardcovers, and triply for the more beautiful hardcovers.

This does not apply to books I do not like.
"Why So Many Gods?" can go straight to hell.

I'm a door locker. I always, always lock the door behind me. But hey, at least that a safe way to OCD.

I get paranoid about polishing rifle bolts. They have to have mirror shine, or I won't sleep at night.

I'm "OCD" about people saying "I'm OCD". Because no, you're not Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. You might have OCD, but you, personally, are not it >:[

I'm a wee bit of a pedant, as this has probably just shown.

People using "then" when they mean "than" is a pretty big one for me. I also hate it when people write satirical articles that gets the satire entirely from sarcasm.

My Ocd is mostly based around checking things. So i dont mind it as it means i never leave things on or unlocked. But say i'm leaving the house, I'll lock the front door. Then push it to check it is locked. But I have to check it in sets of four. So i'll check it four times. But as I walk away if my mind suddenly tells me its not locked and i go back i'll check it another four times. Same with switches in the house. Also things have to line up a certain way. Such as my shoes have to be next to each other facing a certain way. The problem was much worse when i was younger, I could end up checking things 80 to 100 times. Just be stuck in some continous loop checking my alarm was set or that i'd switched the kettle off. It's like i did't realise i was doing it. It's not so bad now. Normally only sheck things about 8 times or so.... I am fucking weird.

The only time i get OCD is making sure all doors are locked, triple checking my pets cages are locked each night. I can leave the house and panic wondering if this is all done... I do not know why...

I get sorta OCD-like whenever I'm checking if I locked a door or not...sometimes I gotta check like 10 times just to make sure. Also for me things usually have to be symmetrical and arranged.
