Pretty much what the title says. Describe them to us.

My dad, for example, is an interesting case. Hand him the controller when any sports game is playing, and he'll instantly start working miracles on a regular basis. Throw into quintuple coverage, catch the ball, throw off all attempts to stop him and run it in for the touchdown? No problem.
Then give him the controller to any other game and walking becomes a totally alien concept to him. The original Sonic platformers confound him. It's an interesting thing to watch.

My little brother's less odd, and more stereotypical. He's a Call of Duty/sports game fanatic. To be fair, he's 13 and trying to "mature". I think (hope) he'll eventually grow out of it.

I'd also put my Dad in. Remember when Dune 2 came out? He played it hardcore - everyday, all day. Dune 2000 came out, same thing. Lately he shown me a new way of playing XBOX 360 games, especially Bad Company 2, where he played the game.. by not shooting anyone. He couldn't aim, so what he did, he let the NPC's from his squad do the work. He still claims, shooting is optional in that Battlefield game. And yes, he played on the easiest setting... and he did finish the game! It's possible!

I'm also a bit weird. I'm often getting hyped to play a game, and once I buy it or lend it from someone, I just don't want to anymore. I have both Mass Effect games, but I can't seem to get to finish them. On the other hand, Dragon Age: Origins, KOTOR; I finished in one row. Also Chrono Cross for the PSX. Back in the day it was a game you couldn't acquire in Poland - shops didn't have it, internet didn't have it to download... hype was killing me after playing Chrono Trigger! But then, one day, I downloaded the game via my awesome pre-Ice Age 56k Modem (took me WEEKS) from some website... and my hype faded away.

I'll go back to play Mass Effect now like a good boy now.

One of my closest friends binges on games. It's scary; he routinely clocks up 7+ hours at a time on RPGs and finishes the average triple-A shooter in one sitting. Which would be fine were it not for the fact that he currently has my Xbox and I really don't want it to RROD before Portal 2 comes out.

My girlfriend, never played a game in her life, but she some how beat my friend in Smash Bros 64 using Yoshi's A button kick the entire match.

And of course if anyones played Halo, they surely have met the odd Halo community. I can at least say I have met a few good people on there.

Well, now, lets see. There is always the people that won't so much as give old games a second glance, i've never understood it and found it strange, but I grew up on the Nes, so to each his own.
You know, what, for all the gamers I know, I guess I don't really consider their behavior or preferences odd. Funny, however, when you give a kid Brawl, and even though they can be good at anything else, you watch as they fall repeatedly into the hole, dying continually. Quite humorous.

My dad and me freaking battle in sports games, but hand him the controller for any other type of game and he can't function. At all.

I second the Halo community. I was in a Halo clan for a while, and those people were fucked up. Alcoholics, people pretending to be girls, insanity, it was messed. Especially since an insane chick (a few months after I left) sent me a message saying "see? I didn't stalk you while I was in Toronto". Yeah...

In terms of actually playing? No, everyone seems pretty normal to me.
