Odd Habits

[Bored Tomatoe]

Well, I am incredibly bored at the moment, and was wondering what strange habits this assortment of mentally unstable acquaintances that we call a "Forum" have. I personally twist at my hair when nervous or bored, and have a habit of drumming on my desk at school, and I don't mean taping my fingers I mean like beating on my desk without realizing it, and getting odd looks from the people next to me.

Sometimes I zone out and start recalling funny speeches or jokes and then randomly laugh very loudly to the confused looks of my surrounding peirs.

I also bite my nails but only when I am bored. When I get a little nevous or I am incredably focused I chew on the collar of my shirt, so some of my shirts have the collar ripped to pieces and I get akward looks from my friends and especially my teachers.

Yeah, I am pretty weird.

I'm known for taking the scenic route to a point through random story x, y and z if I use more than a sentence or two to explain an idea.

I've also got a bit of thing for washing my hands. No idea where it came from.

meeee toooo. Then when people call me weird I usually reply with something rather witty like 'Shut the fuck up'.

I will get a different song stuck in my head almost every day. I'll then proceed to hum it the entire day. Even during tests I'll subconsciously tap my pen(cil) on my desk to the tune. Yeah, and I happen to know a lot of songs too.

All my thought processes are like 2-person conversations. Not in a schizophrenic way, though if I thought out loud, I'm sure people would think I was.

A typical example:
'I have to go on campus today.. why?'
'Isn't there a meeting or something?'
'Yeah, I think so... but for what?'
'The Log probably, only thing that makes sense'
'Oh, that's right'
'I don't really want to go.'
'Yeah, me either.'
'Well, duh.'

...Ok, maybe I'm a tad crazy, but aren't we all?

I think in exactly the same way.

I thought that's how all people do it. I'll even voice it if I'm alone, even, if I'm particularly bored, giving accents to the two voices.

I do that when I am bored and most of my friends cannot do it and have gotten beyond the point of frustration trying to learn how to.

I do that a lot, too. Except I usually mutter it to myself, instead of just thinking it. Maybe I get some odd looks, but I haven't really noticed.

I also sing to myself fairly often. Y'know, you're walking along the street, listening to some nice music, so naturally, you sing along. So, really, a little quiet discussion with myself is on the low end of the crazy-scale.

I'm also never completely comfortable unless I'm slightly cold. I love winter.

I refuse to wear short and anything with long sleeves at the same time. I just feel so stupid wearing them.

I see people who wear shorts, and a huge long sleeved shirt and think: "They look backwards somehow...."

I have a tendency to constantly twitch one leg while I'm sitting and can't hold still when i'm bored

Psh! That's not odd. I do that too, though less due to seeing it as finger food and more not liking milk.
