I wasn't entirely sure where to post this.
Imagine if, sometime in the future, instead of raging wars in the world and harming innocents and destroying mother nature and everything we have built. What if wars were held as large gaming tournaments? Instead of weapons manufacturers we had online modders as such and entire vast plains of battlefields and killing and death and many many virtual families crying etc.
What would make this theory funny was what if people took this as serious as war? Not in the whole "YOU ARE DEAD *unplugs your life support*" but if the leaders of countries used this as a sort of height over each other, as if the leaders had an amount of soldier "points" and they had to buy them using their contries money, MICROSOFT would be HUGE! i think this would be pretty odd but rather amusing a the same time.
What are your views?
