So I just got done re-watching season one of my favorite TV series, Burn Notice, relishing in the clever writing and geometric thinking that made me fall in love with it in the first place. But looking up the wiki page, I realized that despite the awesomeness it's hardly well-known/received (at most getting 5 million viewers, which isn't that much).
That made me think: what TV series, if any, do you watch that you think are great but unknown? I know that many of you live outside the US, so those of you outside please tell me what are the most popular shows on the air as well.
Do your tastes differ a lot from public opinion in your country? Do you find that you like what's popular in another country vs. your own?
