For all you roleplay junkies out there regale us with stories of the strangest character you've ever made.
For me, it would have to be my bisexual half dwarf/demon sex addict fire mage who was raised by an orc blacksmith in a mountain cave. I love her dearly but every so often I step back and wonder just what the hell I was thinking.

My Lawful Good half-orc paladin, just to see if I could COMPLETELY go against expectations. His name was The Viscount St. Austell Biggleswade, and he spoke only in iambic pentameter. He also insisted on taking the first turn of any combat to sing his battle hymn. After about two sessions, our DM suddenly announced that the Viscount had acquired a holy relic that allowed him to cast Lay on Hands up to four times a day, but at the cost of mandating a vow of silence. Seemed liked a fair trade-off for everyone involved, I think.

My half-elf Warlord was awesome, if a little weird. I couldn't roll decent attacks in battle to save my life, but she was always able to make her 'boost morale' throws, and was a great healer and group leader.

... it was a lot of fun to see my party members' faces when I'd start talking EMPHATICALLY and cheering them on for EVERYTHING because YOU CAN DO IT GUYS, I BELIEVE IN YOU!
