Seems interesting enough.
On a side note, read the Orcs series by Stan Nicholls. It's pretty good and the Orcs are the good guys.
Ditto on "Orcs" by Stan Nicholls.
Also, it's interesting to change up the routine from time to time. If the Fantasy genre has shown anything consistently time and time again: Humans are racist bastards. If they were to suddenly switch from a monarchy to a democratic form of government, leaders and cabinet ministers would be elected based on their preference for lining up all the neighboring races (particularly the ugly ones) along the cobblestone sidewalks and dealing with them American History X style.
All in all, it'd be nice to play as a protagonist who isn't granted the title of protagonist by virtue of being the least ugly in the game (a la Kratos). It'd also be nice to play as a protagonist who actually has an excuse to wield the improbably large sword with ease without some bullshit excuse like "magic" or "serious training". I don't care how well you might've trained with that sword, but your skinny, effeminate looking human protagonist should NOT be able to pick up a sword the size of an I-Beam and wield it like a rapier!
