Seriously, look at the popular topics today:

I don't know what's gotten into the water today, but apparently everyone's losing their minds! I've had a pretty shit day in general (though it should end well I imagine) and while some of these threads make me smile with twisted amusement, most of them make me want to bash my face against a wall.

I love that in the original BL they had fall damage, but it was so small, that unless you were already gravely injured with no shield, it was impossible to die :D

So this time they were like fuck gravity!

In one mission I was encouraged to jump off some really high place as an awesome way of getting down - as if there's any other way I would go down!!
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I wouldn't have minded a small landing animation for long falls though, just to make it even more satisfying. :D
