Yes, my dream has indeed come true.

It's back and on virtual console! For those who don't know, the creator of the Ogre series was the creator of Final Fantasy Tactic. Ogre Battle 64 happens to be one of my favorite N64 games. My brother sold our copy without asking my permission. It's been 7 years since then and I'm still pissed.

However, today this feeling of anger is almost gone. Ogre Battle 64 will be on the Wii. Therefore, I must workship Nintendo because the fanboy inside me just woke up. (Ok, maybe I won't completly workship them).

Anyhow, is anyone else excited?

No. I played that game once. Lost the first mission after the enemy teleported right next to my base camp from across the map following a skirmish. Never touched it again.

like most strategy games, it has a brick wall about halfway through that ruined all of my fun.. so I stopped.

When you're roflstomping everyone, and then SUDDENLY get persistently killed over and over and over, fuck that noise.

Given I don't own a Wii probably not. I Do remember owning the cart back in the day and disliking the game, mostly because I don't like RTS.

But its good to see back catalogue coming back as least ya can play those classics!

I rented that game when I was a kid!

I forgot its name! Now I shall buy it again for the 64 off ebay or summat, and sweet joy and pure unicorns will happen!
Are you sure about that? It costs a fortune if you get a fairly good copy. A great copy is around 200$

I've never played it but always wanted to because every title is an obscure song by Queen. Which is the best band ever.

This game is one I have never heard of, to be honest. The only Nintendo game systems I've owned were a SNES, then straight to the GameCube and Wii.

It's pretty rare. That, and Atlus didn't really made a commercial push for it.

Didn't Atlus produce the worst N64 game ever, Superman 64?

Atlus are, among other things, the creators of the Shin Megami Tensei series.
I was never one for those games, mostly because I've never so much as even seen one in real life, let alone play one.
