This is why i don't read ANY comments related to any games i want to play in the near future, infact sometimes i won't even hang around friends who play the game.

If you haven't seen Gurren Lagann but want to, don't so much as Google the series. Seriously, everywhere you look it pretty much tells you the plot. The same thing could be said of Evangelion.
My friend (an idiot) will do the same thing and claim that if you haven't played it in the first year after it was released then its too bad for you. I now hit him every time he spoils a game. Spoilers are a pain. You might want to learn more about a movie, show or a game, but end up runing it or lowering the entertainment value.
What I detest are the mid-story spoilers. You know, things that don't happen at the end, but aren't exactly in the first hour. People don't usually watch out for them because they're usually not that big of a deal, but it's still somewhat spoiled. Heck, they often appear in game trailers...
For me, it's usually TV Tropes that does it. I start watching a good show I haven't seen before and look it up on TVT, and before you know it I'm reading through the whole entry and get a ton of mid-series spoilers. Nothing major, but enough to annoy me.
