Yep, there is a sequel to that horrid video and it is as disturbing as ever. How many of you guys saw the videos, and what do you think of them? I personally would rather not dwell on it after watching it.

I already saw this before but yeah it was a good sequel that kept the tone of the previous and was also funny.

It wasn't as good as the first for me, the message was a lot less subtle. Still quite creepy and uncomfortable however.

For those that are unfamiliar, this is the first video:

Well, thank you for that. I watched both videos and I'm not too sure what I could possibly add...

I think I'll just go and sit down for a bit. This requires rumination.

I think they're pretty funny. I don't see how they could be scary to an adult.

First exposure to either. Lemme say. WOW~!

how unimpressive. No where near "disturbing" enough. Such a waste of a good setup. Could have been so much better.

Oh well, a few minutes squandered and no worse for wear so it could have been worse too.

I'm not sure I'd say it's creepy or disturbing so much as it is just kinda gross. I mean, yeah, it's technically a bit disturbing as well, but not because it's scary or anything. And still not the creepiest music video I've seen.

Admittedly that honor would go to something that might probably be NSWF, even though I think I saw it on these forums to begin with. For those curious, you can Youtube DyE - Fantasy. It's a cool song at least.

These are really clever when you realise what all the symbolism means. Its a little blunt at points to be fair.

The first one is about a teacher who wants the kids to be creative but only in a way she decides is acceptable. She destroys a painting she says is too advanced for the kids and forbids having green as a favourite colour. Its about how crushing schools are even under the pretence of "encouraging creativity". The whole end bit where it goes crazy is the fear that if we let people be creative PROPERLY and not "creative" under a set of strict rules everything will go to shit and society will collapse because people will just do whatever the fuck they want. So the notepad at the end demands no one ever be creative again because its too dangerous.

The second one is about adverts and the modern age using time to scare and threaten you into buying shit and ignoring important stuff. The clock yells at them a lot for wasting time by having fun or being unproductive and forces them into a schedule against their will. It gets extremely angry when they enter a friendly debate about if time REALLY is important or its just a construct of human perception. The clock is abusive and dismisses the death of an old man by distracting the kids with computers and gadgets. It wants them to focus on the right things because everyone dies and buying all these gadgets and focussing on how cool the future is going to be uses that time most efficiently. So buy shit and live on a soulless schedule unless you want to waste precious time. The date 19/06 appears like a bajillion times. This was the date of the communications act which ties into government regulated media.

Also its really fucking disturbing. So theres that.

I don't get why people find these so disturbing, you can find more disturbing stuff with the average google search, it seems rather tame to me actually
I do kinda think the effect is ruined if you're told beforehand that it's disturbing. The disturbance is supposed to come from the realization that something about it is a bit off, and how it fits within the stuff genuinely aimed at kids.
