OH MY GOD! I'VE FINALLY FOUND THIS GAME! (not a hater thread :D)

Years on back, I played a game.
It was an AMAZINGLY fun game that involved robots, big guns, and a cute, immersive environment sucked me in and made me want to be apart of that world. I played it once at a Toys R Us and put it on my insta-buy list

Then, my Xbox original was stolen... and all i could think about was getting that back, so with that (combined with the pressures of school and life) i forgot the game all together.

then, suddenly, i was looking up some other videogames by Blizzard and stumbled across a company they bought that made a little game...

that game was the game i was looking for all these years! and that game, my friends, is Metal Arms: Glitch in the System i was so happy to find it after all these years! but now the discussion value here is...

what games have you discovered randomly that are JUST what you're looking for? or just what videogames have society forgotten and left behind that you remember...?

Timesplitters 2 for the Xbox. Found it for $3 and instantly bought it.

Sad that Gamestop stopped selling used Xbox games.

Resident Evil 4, $9. Hadn't played it, hadn't heard much about it (somehow), picked it up for my birthday, and lo and behold, it was AWESOME.

Still one of my favorite games in the last decade.

I remember looking for Dark Cloud for the PS2 for ages and not finding it, after playing it on the demo disc and loving it...

Then it was there on the store shelf and I was happy

Hahaha i have metal arms for gamecube in my drawer right now and dark cloud lol. For me that game was digimon world one. I played it on someone else's original playstation and i was sucked in. I loved digimon at the time so raising one was just awesome for me.

INTERSTATE '82!!!!!!!
A friend of my dads offered to download some games onto his computer when I was like, eight...
Anyway, one of them was the Interstate '82 demo, which contained two full missions.
I had sooooo muuuuuch fuuuuun playing them, and was perfectly content with just two missions.

Later I learned that there was more! But could never find a copy, as I was only eight and my attention was never in one place for too long...

Well, I managed to unearth a copy about a year ago and...well...it was epic.
I played through it at least twenty times...
And you know what? It's still fun! I strongly recommend everyone to look into it.

I think the most recent one for me was Betrayal in Antara. It's not really a contender for best game ever, but it holds a special place in my heart because it was the first RPG I had ever owned, my first WRPG period, and the second RPG I had ever played if you counted the time I played the first hour of FFVII. One day, many years ago, my copy of the first disk just disappeared, and I never did find it. However, this summer, I came across a copy in a local used bookstore for $2. Needless to say, I was ecstatic, and bought it on the spot.

OT: Planescape: Torment, Beyond Good and Evil, Psychonauts, Baldur's gate, KoTor. When local stores fail me, online stores do not.

Serious Sam Gold Edition, mint condition on eBay for $15. Aaaah, that was a good day. And it was an even better day when it arrived in the mail.
