Your body was not ready, and it won't be ready for a very long time after that match.

Did you not practice? He got smashed out 13 times, threw himself out 5 times, attacked the wrong direction multiple times AND missed his uppercut.

That was just the cringiest way for Reggie to show up at E3.

Seemed fun + good to me. Nintendo is the silliest of the main companies, have you seen their pre E3 videos? If you have not, google reggie filsamech.

Well he did choose Ryu, who he couldn't have had much time to learn (and I must say Ryu's recovery with Shoryuken looks awful even used in combination with Hurricane Kick). Doesn't matter even if he actually tried, he wouldn't have beaten a professional Jigglypuff player. He's just honouring the claim he made in an earlier show that he would 'train, and come back, and kick your ass'... except he obviously has slacked in his training and kick ass parts, and just came back. For shame, grasshopper.

I was actually supremely disappointed with that display there.

And you also saw how seriously HBox was taking himself in the very beginning, as if you got to finally have a showdown with a top developer, but instead Reggie let us down.

Next up, Mang0 vs Sakurai

Wasn't the purpose of that display to show off the new charactar? Because in that case I understand the choice to play with somebody who isn't skilled and consequently rather slow. It makes it all easier to watch for those who haven't spent 100's of hours in smash bros games already.

It was fun that it actually happened, but was beyond cringy. The fact that it was a timed match made it that much worse. four minutes was too much for and the half of the time I was watching, I was shielding my eyes from it. still gotta respect the hustle of Reggie. MF'er does clearly not give damn about how people see him, which made this still somewhat respectable.

Reggie got wrecked but the guy's cheery attitude saved it from being anywhere near as humiliating as it could've been.

If this is the kind of thing that annoys you, then I'm pretty sure it's a sign that you might take games a little too seriously. At least Nintendo seems to remember that games are meant to be about relaxing and having fun, not getting worked up over somebody else not being totally amazing at something new.
