This thread is only a spoiler if you have not seen the end of Thor or iron man 2 or captain america. If you have seen any of those (doesn't have to be all) then I won't be spoiling any thing.
[spoiler/]So yesterday I saw Captain America and at the end of the movie good ole Samual L. Jackson appeared. I had only recently seen iron man 2 before that and to add I am really not a comics guy so I was so confused as to why he was in both movies. My brother then explained to me the whole The Avengers thing and how it is all connected. I was so shocked. Like what the hell could have just happened.[/spoiler]
To add I was just surprised how late to the bandwagon I was in having no idea what was going on. Has this ever happened to you? Where it seems like everyone knows something and you're just out of the loop?

You don't watch Movie Bob, do you? Seriously, go back and watch his review of all the marvel movies. He'll explain a LOT of it. Also, a couple of his Big Picture episodes are helpful as well, as an intro to the whole comic universe.

I get that feeling all the time. Not so much with the movies you mentioned (because I keep up with MovieBob's reviews) but just generally about things at home, work and concerning my friends. I often feel like I'm the last to know things but usually I've already been informed I just wasn't paying attention. Just one of my flaws I guess.

Also, I'm really looking forward to The Avengers. Turns out I like these superhero movies a lot more than I ever thought I would.
