Yes! I did it! It's a WoW thread! Sue me.
Anyway, post your favorite things about WoW, why you like it, your characters too if you want. Maybe we can get organized and start playing together. Who knows?

Also, to avert some flaming : I respect the people who hate WoW. It's your choice and you have a right to feel any way you want. However I really don't care if you hate WoW. So go post somewhere else if you want to rant about it.

The stupid little jokes in names and places. (Hin Denberg, the zepellin master, for example)
And my old guild. They were a great bunch of guys and gals.

Edit: And what ToonLink said

If any of my guild (Vehemence from Scarshield Legion EU) live here on the escapist then: it's me! Elthrthrith! And unblock me from the forum so I can keep in touch damnit.

Well my fav things about WoW were (since I don't play it anymore):
The seamless world, designed with incredible eye for detail, had so much fun with just exploring.
The game sets a fantastic atmosphere for whatever zone you're in, be it a gloomy, evil forest ala Duskwood, or a lush jungle ala Scholazar Basin. Everything, the fantastic ambient and theme music, the details, work together to form a perfect mood. That means I find the game réally immersive, I really got pulled in the world unlike any other game.

I liked Northrend, they definitely got better with environments. Also really loved my old guild before I quit, From the Ashes. Fean, Zendah, if you guys are on the Escapist give me a shout! But anyways, the main thing I didn't like was the lack of endgame, after you hit 80 there wasn't much to do unless you wanted to endlessly grind heroic dungeons or had the time to raid. But the journey to get to 80 was pretty fun, I admit.
