I was just playing Portal 2 recently and got through fighting the final boss. After seeing that my tactic wasn't working, I imediately realized why. Now I am not going to go in too far with this story for spoiler reasons, even though if you haven't played it by now you probably know how this game ends anyway. The point is I thought too far into things and came out with the wrong tactic and made things harder than they needed to be. I am just wondering what are your experiences with this.

When I played Resident Evil 4 on Professional difficulty for the first time I always ran out of bullets... Then I discovered the "Shoot in the legs + knife method" and everything was much easier from then on.
